Call for Papers

Special Track on
Information Systems and Internet Technology

This special track aims at the development of information systems and Internet technology. It is intended to provide a high-quality platform for researchers and practitioners to present their latest theoretical and practical research with applications in this rapidly-changing area. Original papers are solicited in all areas of research related to information systems and Internet technology.

Topics may include but not limited to:

  • Information systems, technology and management
  • Information assurance
  • Information retrieval
  • Online analytical processing technology
  • Data mining and data warehousing
  • Networks and application
  • Distributed systems and application
  • Web technology and development
  • Internet technology and application
  • Security, privacy, and usability
  • Software and application
  • e-Learning and e-Commerce

Paper submission:

Papers should be original and contain contributions of theoretical or experimental nature, or be unique experience reports. Interested authors should submit a 6-page description of their original and unpublished work including 5 keywords in the IEEE format. All submissions must include author names and complete mailing addresses (including telephone number, fax number, and the email address). Extra charges will apply if final version of the paper exceeds six pages.

Evaluation process:

All papers will be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. Papers will be evaluated for originality, technical content, language clarity, and significance to the conference. Accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings published by the Conference Publishing Services (CPS) and available on the digital library.

Best student paper:

The Best Student Paper will be awarded at the conference. To be eligible, the student must be the sole author of the paper, or the first author and primary contributor. A cover letter to the General Chair/Track Chair must identify the paper as a candidate for this competition at the time of submission.
